Committees

The Romeoville Area Chamber of Commerce maintains a number of committees to assist in the planning and execution of a variety of functions. The majority of these committees are open to any Chamber member who wishes to join.

Ambassador Committee

This committee is charged with promoting RACC to current members and the community at large with a focus on member retention.  Ambassadors personally meet with new and renewing members to educate on member benefits, recruit committee members and gauge satisfaction.  The Ambassador Committee also does the 50/50 raffle at the monthly luncheons.The committee

Education Committee

The Education Committee is responsible for connecting the business and education communities promoting an environment of lifelong learning and professional development.


Government Affairs Committee

This committee shall gain and provide perspective and understanding of governmental issues as they pertain to the business community.


Luncheon Committee

Responsible for planning many aspects of the monthly luncheons, as well as the annual State of the Village in January.  Members help secure sponsors, book speakers, and assist in menu planning.  Committee members are also responsible for manning the registration table and handling the door prizes (including the Chamber eBlast) at monthly luncheons.

Membership Development Committee

This committee is responsible for recruiting new members utilizing a variety of methods.


Nominations Committee

This committee shall present a slate of candidates at the February Board meeting for approval and voting at the March meeting.

These committees plan and execute special events during the year. These events include:

Golf Outing

Business Expo

Halloween/Fall Festival
